Having completed his masters of physiotherapy studies at the University of Queensland in 2005, Daryl has since worked both in private practice and in aged care and enjoys the diversity that these 2 settings provide. Being an avid squash player and runner, Daryl has a keen interest in the biomechanics of the lower limb and injuries to the foot and ankle. These special interest areas lead him to pursue further qualifications as a Level 2 Recreational Running Coach and Running Physiotherapist. This knowledge and skill allows him to expertly assess running patterns and identify technical faults that may cause chronic injury, through live treadmill video analysis.
Daryl often incorporates the use of rigid and kinesio taping into his treatment sessions and encourages clients to assist their injury management with home exercises. Daryl has many years of clinical experience behind him and he has provided physiotherapy and on-site injury management for athletes both on a state and national level. He looks forward to helping you regain your passion for life, running or your sport of choice and rid your body of pain.
Having completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 2003 Jen has spent the last 12 years working in a wide range of physiotherapy clinics and community settings in Brisbane and South East Victoria.
With further training in speciality areas of dry needling therapy, muscle energy techniques and clinical Pilates, Jen has adapted her skills to provide pain relief to a huge range of clients, from the semi-professional athlete right through to the pregnant population. Although she enjoys treating all areas of the body, Jen has 2 special interest areas, headaches and ante/postnatal physiotherapy. Jen is an avid supporter of safe exercise during pregnancy and helping women to enjoy their pregnancies by reducing pain and discomfort. Continuous education into treatment of the lumbar spine and pelvic regions, have assisted Jen in becoming the ‘go-to’ physio for pregnancy pain in her area.
In addition to her other qualifications, Jen gained her certification with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and has recently joined their team as a clinical Pilates educator for matwork courses. Jen uses her clinical Pilates training in both treatment and class settings, teaching small group classes in the on-site gym space at the clinic.
